How Hypnotherapy for Weight Control and Eating Disorders Works
Issues with weight control and eating disorders in Brisbane have been on a steady rise in recent decades. Unfortunately, weight loss treatments often end up in disappointment. However, there’s more to it than just frustration. When food is part of your predicament, a drawback of any kind has a way of triggering a vicious cycle. Things happen and they trigger things within you outside of your conscious awareness; you go to food for comfort; you’re then even madder at yourself for failing, and so on. It’s a speed train that is very hard to get off of – without adequate help.
Why Is Weight Management so Hard Sometimes?
Reducing body weight has come to the forefront of individual and public efforts decades ago. However, it has always been clear that it is not going to be an easy task. The reasons for having difficulties with weight control and eating disorders are many. What I’m interested in are the psychological barriers that are keeping my clients from having a healthy relationship with food.
I believe that, in most cases, our subconsciousness is dictating how we relate to food and our physique. That’s why defeating obesity or eating disorders is proving to be so challenging. As children, we make a lot of decisions about how the world works and how we’re supposed to be. Some of them can lead to struggles with weight and eating in adulthood.
Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss and Eating Disorders
What I found is that if you’re struggling with weight loss and eating disorders – it’s usually your subconsciousness that’s blocking the process. That’s why I use hypnosis for weight management and eating disorders. It helps us learn what your subconscious defences are trying to shelter you from. And then replace the maladaptive beliefs with new, healthy ones.
The efficacy of the use of hypnosis in eating disorders and weight loss hypnotherapy have both been verified in research and practice. I add hypnosis to the psychotherapeutic examination of patterns that are stopping you from leading a healthy life. As a result, my clients experience a profound change – one that allows them to abandon their unhealthy attitude towards food. And never come back to it.
Book a Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss or Hypnotherapy for Eating Disorder Session
Let’s examine how societal pressures, your childhood experience, or an overall self-destructive pattern has led you to where you are now. I will safely guide you into a profound state of openness that allows us to access your subconscious mind and make positive changes. Once you experience hypnosis for permanent weight loss and wellness, you will be free to enjoy food – without risking your health and wellbeing.

Online Skype Therapy for Anxiety and Depression
Can You Cope and Recover Without Ever Meeting Your Therapist in Person?
Online Skype therapy has been a steadily developing trend for quite some time now. However, with the COVID-19 pandemics, it has turned into a necessity. I used to offer Skype treatment for anxiety and depression to one-third of my clients. Now, I may as well call myself a Skype psychologist.
Skype Treatment for Anxiety Disorder
These are anxiety-evoking times. Controversially, people are often putting their mental health on the backburner. We have more urgent issues to deal with, such as stockpiling groceries and disinfecting everything. Nonetheless, it is genuinely more important than ever to seek professional support. We all need help to cope with anxiety and depression.
For safety reasons, I recommend online Skype therapy for anxiety. In specific, hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment has proven to be very helpful. I am a licensed hypnotherapist for clinical depression. Also, I’m a hypnotherapist for phobias. I utilize these techniques as a part of the best, effective Skype therapy for mental health.
What You Should Know About My Approach to Online Skype Therapy
My approach is unique. I combine hypnotherapy with other psychotherapeutic techniques. Why? To ensure that you learn how to tackle anxiety and depression on your own, quickly and effectively.
I’m keeping myself available to my clients by providing the best online Skype treatment. This is also how I’m keeping everyone safe from the novel coronavirus. When it comes to Skype counselling, Australia is among the countries leading the way towards the new approach to mental health services. That is why I am offering a Skype therapy program in Spring Hill, Skype video counselling in Queensland, but also across the entire country.
So, Can You Cope and Recover Without Meeting Me in Person?
The short answer is – Yes, absolutely! Online anxiety treatment, as well as sessions for other ailments you may have, are different merely in terms of technical means we use. Other than that, they will look the same as if you were sitting in my office. We will be working on dealing with symptoms and causes of the issues that are preventing you from living a fulfilled life.
I believe that, when it comes to online counselling, Australia will hold onto this new normal after the pandemics pass. The reason? Online Skype therapy enables experts to deliver help to anyone, anywhere. And, as we have learned, this maybe more than just the preferred way. It may, at times, be the only way to receive vital professional help.

You Can Still Have Effective Therapy Sessions
– Using Zoom for Therapy to Tackle Stress and Anxiety –
I have always been open to the idea of using Zoom for therapy. I believe it’s a great platform to make my services accessible to those who don’t share my postal code. However, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic highlighted the importance of being able to connect online. These are times of heightened stress and anxiety. Everyone is at risk of going through a crisis. And online therapy through Zoom is how I’m trying to contribute to the fight.
The new face of psychotherapy
Same as other areas of life, psychotherapy has also been transforming over the past decade or so. Most online platforms have evolved. It all started as a means for families and friends to stay in touch. They are now also serving as legitimate business and therapy tools.
When it comes to online counselling, Australia is welcoming the emerging trend. In Australia, best therapists are offering psychotherapy using Zoom to make themselves available to anyone who needs their help. I am one of them.
Using Zoom for therapy of mental health disorders is still psychotherapy. What I mean by this is that the therapeutic relationship abides by the same ethical principles as in-person sessions. Therefore, you can rest assured that it is merely the platform that is different in our Zoom sessions.
What I can help you with by using Zoom for therapy
Governments all over the world are now recommending (ordering, even) social distancing.I’m working on keeping everyone safe, too. I’m conducting online anxiety treatment, as well as sessions for other issues you may be experiencing. At this moment, what I believe is a very potent technique is hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment. For that reason, I’m available for Zoom hypnosis for anxiety in Spring Hill and across the country and the world.
The outcome of severe and ongoing stress for many can be depression. So, I’m also using Zoom to help as a hypnotherapist for clinical depression. I holdZoom therapy for anger management, as well. Some people react to prolonged stress through uncontrolled rage, which is not an adaptive and healthy reaction.
Nonetheless, let’s not disregard that people still deal with issues that are not directly related to the current pandemic. This fact is why I’m using Zoom to implement hypnotherapy for weight control and eating disorders. I’m also helping people as a licenced hypnotherapist for phobias.
***
In a nutshell, all my services are available in-person and online. The reason? I profoundly believe that a capable psychotherapist can (and has to) make himself available to people wherever they may be. And I know that the quality of sessions with me is the same, whether we’re in the same room, or we’re using Zoom to connect.

Covid-19 Tips for Staying Well
I realise that you are probably a bit overwhelmed with information related to COVID-19 but it is important during this time to keep your emotional and mental health in tip-top condition.
Here are a few tips I hope you find useful.
1. Limit your COVID-19 information intake. We all know that the media loves to ramp things up to sell a good story. Constantly taking in more information about COVID-19 can easily lead to feeling overwhelmed and feeling of fear and helplessness. Try to keep your information intake to what is only affecting you directly in your local area.
2. Focus on the positives of having more time with family and the people you live with.
3. Practice daily mindfulness meditation – Check my Facebook page for a free mindfulness meditation recording for you to use.
4. Remember that this is all temporary and it will pass.-Think of it as a storm moving through. When a storm comes through, we do what we need to do to protect ourselves so that it causes a little damage as possible. We then may settle in and watch a good movie, enjoy time with our loved ones; then we clean up once the storm has passed. Always remember that it will pass.
Keep up your physical activity, particularly aerobic exercise.
Take pride in preparing healthy meals-Taking the extra time to not only prepare healthy meals but also to present them well (as though you are serving them in a restaurant) it helps to nurture a feeling of abundance.
I sincerely hope these few simple ideas are helpful for you.
Kindest regards,
Peter McMahon

Quick Ways To Get Rid Of Your Phobia Using Hypnotherapy
Contrary to what a lot of people believe, fear and phobia aren’t the same. Fear is a normal emotion and considered as a healthy response to threat. Phobia, on the other hand, is a disorder that can cause severe anxiety attacks and distress to anyone who is suffering from it. Fortunately, there are effective methods that can be used to fight phobias, and one of them is hypnotherapy.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a method where the patient will be placed in a trance as an attempt to access the subconscious part of their brain. With the use of different techniques, a hypnotherapist for phobias can guide the client into the state of hypnosis. Believe it or not, hypnosis can play a huge role in helping someone get rid of their phobia. And if you want to know how it does that, then take a look a look at the following explanations.
Here Are 5 Easy Ways to Overcome Phobia Through Hypnotherapy
1. Using the patient’s subconsciousness.
Hypnotherapy is all about tapping into the subconscious part of the brain. And since phobias are said to affect a person straight from their subconsciousness, it will be easier to create a connection and find a quicker way on how the problem can be fixed.
2. Identifying what caused the phobia.
To completely break the phobia’s cycle, you must first understand where it came from. Hypnotherapy can help you do that by regression or allowing you to delve into your inner self and recall the moment that started it all.
3. Keeping the patient calm.
Phobia is classified as an anxiety disorder, and the effects it brings are what makes it very difficult to deal with. People who have undergone hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment are taught ways on how they can remain calm when dealing with the thing they are scared of the most.
4. Helping the patient face their phobia.
With the use of imagination and effective techniques, hypnotherapy can help the patient build enough self-confidence to face their biggest fears without freaking out.
5. Doing self-hypnosis to keep you on track.
A hypnotherapist for clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental conditions will most likely recommend self-hypnosis in forms of listening to audio files, watching taped documentaries, and webcam therapy sessions in order to keep everything under control even if the patient is busy.
These are some of the easiest ways of overcoming phobia with the use of hypnotherapy. Phobia is a serious condition that affects countless people all around the world. But, with useful methods such as hypnotherapy, everyone has the chance to enjoy a phobia-free life.

Unlike what others may think, depression is NOT your normal sadness. It is a severe mental disorder that affects millions of people. Thankfully, there are a lot of treatment options available, one of them is hypnotherapy.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy where the client is placed in a trance-like state, making them more open to suggestions that can have a positive impact on their lives. Similar to what a hypnotherapist for phobias would do, the client will be subjected to different relaxation techniques that can help them reach the perfect state of semi-slumber.
Now you might be wondering if hypnotherapy is an effective remedy against clinical depression, the answer is yes. And to help you understand how it works, here are some great examples.
The 7 Best Ways to Treat Depression with Hypnotherapy

With the use of hypnotic visualization, a hypnotherapist for clinical depression can help you recall the beautiful memories that have been kept somewhere in your brain.
- By identifying your triggers.
Hypnotherapy can help you understand why you’re feeling that way. It can bring out your pent-up emotions and allow you to figure out what triggers them.
- By releasing all of the negative emotions you have.
Hypnotherapy can help push your negative feelings out, therefore removing the things that can make your illness last longer.
- By replacing your traumatic memories with positive thoughts.
People who are undergoing hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment know just how important it is for positivity to remove the bad ideas caused by trauma. Having positive affirmations can drive the effects of trauma and start the process of healing.
- By making you remember that you have control.
A hypnotherapist can help you regain control of your life by putting you in a trance and guiding you into the deepest parts of yourself to fix the things you’re struggling with.
- By using the power of suggestion.
Hypnotherapy uses the power of suggestion to treat the physical effects of depression. It can correct irregular sleeping patterns, lethargy, chronic pain, and even libido.
Conclusion:
Hypnotherapy is an excellent treatment for depression as it helps not the mind and body to fight off the effects of the notorious mental disorder. It is also highly available, you can go to a hypnotherapist’s clinic, listen to audio files, or even try out webcam therapy sessions.

Hypnosis Therapy – the Best Treatment for Anxiety and Stress
Get the extra help from your subconscious mind
We’re all anxious and stressed to some degree. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. However, sometimes we can no longer remain in charge of our adverse emotions. That’s when people usually seek a therapist’s help. Yet, even in therapy, shaking off the anxiety, depression, or day-to-day stress can sometimes be easier said than done. That’s when I go for hypnotherapy.
The power of hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment
Where does this extra potential of hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment come from? From within ourselves!
As a psychotherapist, my first line of dealing with the client’s issues is at a conscious level. I work on changing the dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors. However, we’re sometimes held back by things that we can’t truly grab ahold of consciously.
Hypnotherapy has the power to help us discover the deeply buried skeletons in our closet. Do you suffer from anxiety, phobias, depression, eating disorders, or severe reactions to stress? They all can be symptoms. Symptoms of what? An underlying conflict. Fears we don’t admit even to ourselves. Things we hide from our consciousness.
How does hypnotherapy work?
Hypnotherapy looks nothing like the stage shows you might imagine. It’s more of the most profound relaxation you’ve ever experienced. The therapist will guide you to relax fully. This allows your subconsciousness to open for therapeutic intervention.
Hypnotherapy will release your hidden potential to deal with the hidden conflicts. I combine it with analytical therapeutic work. Used that way, hypnotherapy for anxiety proves to be the best possible treatment out there.
The best thing with hypnotherapy is that it’s quick, with long-lasting effects. It’s easily included in therapy sessions for that added push in the right direction. I even hold webcam therapy sessions. In my experience, hypnotherapy allows for the healing process to overcome that brick wall you keep hitting.
When to see a certified hypnotherapist, apart for anxiety and stress? A hypnotherapist for phobias will liberate you from your fears. You can also consult a hypnotherapist for clinical depression. If you can’t get rid of a nasty habit, hypnotherapy can help, too.
***
So, if you’ve been unsuccessfully fighting anxiety or any other emotional disturbance, give hypnotherapy a try. Ideally, combine it with psychotherapy. Utilize the power of your conscious mind, and your subconsciousness. Start living a liberated life!

Online Therapy for Depression
The new age of the internet has taken therapy treatment for depression to a completely other level, specifically that application of Skype. Known more recently as “Skypotherapy”, the method of patients receiving depression therapy via Skype has gained popular momentum, and offers some pretty positive benefits. Online therapy offers considerable advantages that traditional, in-office therapy does not, such as complete anonymity, affordability, and maybe most importantly, convenience. There is no driving anywhere or having to shuffle around a schedule in order to take the time out to travel to a therapy office. While this hassle may be small to those in city regions, for patients in more remote areas, this can be the difference between actually getting the needed therapy for depression or not.
Take for example, the mining profession. This industry is known for one of the highest rates in depression—which sadly the majority of the time ends in suicide before treatment is even sought out—due to work camps that require intense labor and excruciatingly long hours. With online therapy, these miners and other people suffering from depression in likewise rural areas such as this, the limitless availability for treatment could save lives. Skype therapy makes treatment accessible for even the most remote of areas.
But even though convenience is a benefit, does online treatment for depression actually work? As more and more studies are conducted around the country, online treatment is proving to be just as—if not perhaps better—than traditional, in-office therapy. Skype therapy for depression can be done from anywhere the patient chooses and where he or she is most comfortable. Having the extra barrier of the computer screen in front of a patient ironically has the ability to knock down any possible barriers that might be up in an actual therapist office.
